PANO - Argentine Week, to open on November 23rd in Hanoi, will help Hanoians learn more about Argentina’s unique culture, music, food, cinematography, photography and trade, said Argentine Ambassador Claudio Gutierrez at a meeting with the press on November 18th.

The highlight of this week will be the Argentine Night in Hanoi, the second of its kind, on the first day of the week. Accordingly, two chefs from the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel will instruct food-lovers to make Western and Vietnamese dishes from Argentine beef.

During this week, there will be an exhibition entitled “Urbana: View on a city”, introducing photos taken by Argentine photographers; a trade promotion exchange between Argentine and Vietnamese businesses; a free screening of three typical contemporary films of the Argentine cinematography at Hanoi Cinematheque in Hanoi on November 26th and 27th.

Regarding the cooperation between the two countries, the Argentine ambassador held that Vietnam has among the strongest ties with Argentina of all countries in Asia. At present, eight Argentine projects are being exported to Vietnam. Moreover, the country is paying close attention to expanding its cooperation in trade and tourism with Vietnam.

The ambassador underlined the uniqueness in the two countries’ tourism that cannot be found anywhere else in the world, for example Ha Long Bay in Vietnam.

He also talked about the market expansion for Argentine beef in Vietnam and stressed the two countries’ opportunities to bolster trade cooperation.
