He emphasized that with the trust and support of the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports, the FBU is ready to engage in close collaboration with Lao institutions, and is interest in assessing their capacity with a view to making long-term infrastructure investment.

Notably, the FBU also announced its willingness to offer full scholarships to Lao students and researchers wishing to study in Vietnam. This initiative is part of the university’s education internationalization strategy and reflects the spirit of solidarity and special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

Bien also proposed extensive cooperation in various areas, including student and lecturer exchanges, joint scientific research, mutual credit recognition between institutions, and collaborative training in key disciplines.

The Lao side agreed with the proposals of the FBU Chairman regarding the promotion of academic and student exchanges, scholarship granting, and mutual recognition of academic programs. The Lao Ministry of Education and Sports stated that it will continue to study the proposals and report to relevant authorities for further implementation in the near future.
