He noted that the increase in the popular vote share not only reflected the trust and strong support of the Singaporean people for the sound leadership of the PAP and PM Wong personally, but also served as a clear testament to the continuity and advancement of the core values that underpin the “Singapore miracle” - the ones that PM Wong and his colleagues embody.

He expressed his confidence that entrusted by the people of Singapore, Wong will continue to lead the country through future challenges and further advance Singapore’s stable and prosperous development.

Discussing bilateral relations, PM Pham Minh Chinh proposed the two countries boost economic cooperation and expand Singapore’s investment in Vietnam, particularly in high-tech sectors, renewable energy, smart infrastructure, and sustainable urban development. He also called for stronger collaboration in offshore wind power exports, carbon credit trading, financial innovation, port development, and transnational crime combat.

Wong said the PAP's election success was the result of dedicated efforts by party members to strengthen public trust.

Both leaders agreed to instruct relevant ministries and agencies to actively implement the key outcomes of recent high-level visits. They also stressed the importance of deepening exchanges between their Parties and enhancing people-to-people ties.

They requested their foreign ministries to work closely to finalize an Action Plan for the implementation of the Vietnam-Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for the 2025-2030 period within this year.

The Vietnamese PM welcomed the upcoming visit of a delegation of young PAP leaders to Vietnam, which aims to share practical experience in Party building, state governance, and community engagement.

Amidst rapid changes and significant challenges in the global and regional landscapes, particularly concerning international trade and investment, both sides agreed to enhance consultation, coordination, and mutual support at regional and international forums, especially within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), for the peace, stability, and shared prosperity in the region and the world. They also agreed to discuss bilateral cooperation and other issues at the upcoming ASEAN Summit in Malaysia.
