Vietnamese and Lao Party Central Committees' Inspection Commissions foster cooperation
PANO - A high-ranking delegation of the Inspection Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s (CPV) Central Committee, led by its Head Tran Cam Tu, paid a working visit to Laos on November 9 and 10.
The visit was made at the invitation of Khamphanh Phommathath, Politburo member, a member of the Secretariat of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee, and chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Central Committee.

On the afternoon of November 9 in Vientiane, Party General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith received the delegation.
During the meeting, the Chairman of CPV’s Inspection Commission Tran Cam Tu briefed Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith on his talks with the LPRP Central Committee’s Inspection Commission. He affirmed that the two inspection commissions will continue fostering their coordination and sharing information and experience on inspecting, observing, and handling their cooperation agreements inked by the two agencies and senior leaders of the two parties and countries.
Party General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith highly appreciated the working visit of the Vietnamese delegation in the Laos – Vietnam Friendship Year. He asked the two inspection commissions to boost information and experience exchange in Party building, especially in corruption prevention and control, thus helping successfully implement the resolutions of the two parties’ national congresses and unceasingly improving the CPV and LPRP’s leadership and combat capabilities.
Earlier the same day, Mr. Tu held talks with his Lao counterpart Khamphanh Phommathath. At the end of the talks, the two sides signed a cooperation agreement between the two inspection commissions for the 2022 – 2026 period.
