PANO - The 5th AEC+8 Gems & Jewelry Presidents' Summit took place from November 5 to 6 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event saw the participation of Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, President of the Gems and Jewelry Association, Ambassadors of 8 ASEAN countries and territories worldwide, and representatives of gems and jewelry businesses in Vietnam.

This is the first time the Vietnam Gems & Jewelry Art Association has hosted this summit.

Under the theme “For a prosperous jewelry industry”, delegates at the summit discussed measures and exchanged experience with the aim of promoting comprehensive cooperation within the gems and jewelry sector, contributing to boosting investment cooperation, economic development, and cultural exchange among countries and territories.

On the sidelines of the summit, various activities, such as a fashion and jewelry show, and an auction to sell jewelry and gemstone works, were also organized.
