Vietnam-Indonesia trade is estimated to reach between USD 5.4 to 5.6 billion in 2016, he said, noted that bilateral trade saw a slightly decrease this year and it might be difficult to realize the goal of USD 10 billion in two-way trade value in 2018.

The expo, Indonesia’s annual largest trade fair, attracted the participation of 120 countries and territories with 15,500 booths, displaying a wide range of products from food, beverage, consumer goods to health care products and drugs, electric and electronic equipment and machinery.

More than 1,100 Indonesian enterprises participated in the event and the organizing board hopes that the total value of transactions at the expo will be about USD 154 million.

The expo will take place until October 16.
