On behalf of the Party, State, and people of Vietnam, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung extended his best New Year wishes to the Party, State, and people of Laos. He expressed his delight at the important and comprehensive achievements recorded by the Lao people in 2025 under the sound leadership of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party. He voiced confidence that Laos would successfully implement the goals set out in the Resolution of its 12th National Congress, laying a solid foundation for entering a new stage of development.

Emphasizing that Vietnam always treasures and takes pride in its special solidarity with Laos, a relationship forged through the sacrifices and blood of generations of revolutionary soldiers and people of both countries, Minister Le Hoai Trung expressed profound gratitude for the sincere support and valuable assistance that Laos has consistently extended to Vietnam. He affirmed his belief that, with strong determination from both sides, Vietnam–Laos relations will continue to grow robustly.
Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Khamphao Ernthavanh expressed her honor in welcoming senior leaders of the Vietnamese Party and State, as well as representatives from central and local agencies, to the celebration. She stressed that their presence reflected the rare and special comradeship and brotherhood between the two nations.

The ambassador congratulated Vietnam on its significant achievements and expressed confidence that, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, headed by Party General Secretary and State President To Lam, the Vietnamese people will successfully realize their development goals toward 2030 and 2045.

On this occasion, Ambassador Khamphao Ernthavanh also thanked the Party, State, and people of Vietnam for their steadfast support to Laos in both past struggles for national liberation and current efforts in national construction and defense cause. She noted that despite rapid and complex developments in the regional and global landscape, the two countries have continued to strengthen their great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation, affirming a rare and enduring relationship in the world.
