Indonesian batik was recognized as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity in 2009 by UNESCO.
Accordingly, the exchange event consisted of various activities, including performances of Vietnam and Indonesia’s traditional costumes, Indonesian artisans presenting batik techniques and showing audiences how to make batik; and a Vietnam-Indonesia art exchange program, to name but a few.
The event aimed to enhance the mutual understanding and cultural exchange between Dong Nai province and Indonesia and its people, contributing to tightening the cooperative ties between the two countries.
