The event saw the attendance of Minister of Public Security General To Lam and representatives from embassies of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, China, and Japan.

In his opening remarks, Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security said that the music gala is a cultural, art, musical exchange to boost mutual understanding of national cultures, land, people and development of Vietnamese police and their foreign peers. This will help enhance fruitful cooperation and friendship among ASEAN countries and between ASEAN and its partners in the region and the world.

The event was started off with the festive drum performance by 300 students from the Vietnam People’s Police Academy.

The music gala brings together eight art troupes with over 400 instrumentalists and dancers, including six art troupes from China, Japan, the Philippines, Laos, Myanmar and Brunei, and two from the host Vietnam.
