Meanwhile, workers in LG Innotek, Dong Yang and Zhong xin Ya came back to work from February 8.

Local firms’ improved policies in salaries and bonuses together with transportation support encouraged workers and helped them feel more secure and engaged in their work.

In recent three years, large projects of LG and Vingroup have attracted more than 130,000 labourers and 25,000 experts to work in Hai Phong’s economic zones, 40 percent of whom come from other provinces and cities as well as foreign countries.

Hai Phong is currently home to one economic zone, the Dinh Vu-Cat Hai, and seven industrial parks of Nomura, Dinh Vu, Trang Due, VSIP, An Duong, Do Son, and Nam Cau Kien.
