Talking with leaders of the hospital, Dam wished that the hospital will further improve its service quality by adopting new technology and seeking suitable management model.

irector of the hospital Nguyen Van Thuan said with three facilities, Hospital K now has 1,800 beds, including 1,500 for inpatients and 300 for outpatients, and nearly 1,300 officials and  staff members.

Last year, the hospital offered check-ups and treatment to 390,668 people and adopted technological advances in treatment, thereby raising the total number of surgeries to 21,126, up 37 percent from 2016 and 32 percent from the plan.

In 2018, it will strive to become a special-standard hospital, he said.
