He also stated that Ho Chi Minh City will take the occasion to introduce its science-technology development and hi-tech industry to improve its economy’s growth quality and competitiveness.

The conference will create an opportunity for Vietnamese managers, scientists and intellectuals to exchange and learn experience in hi-tech development from their foreign peers, he added.

Some 50 reports on science parks will be presented at the event.

On the occasion, enterprises from the southern hub of Vietnam and ASPA members will organize an exhibition showcasing their standout products. Outstanding start-ups and hi-tech products will be honored on the sidelines of the conference.

ASPA is an international non-governmental organization established in Japan in 1997 to promote development in the fields of science and technology, industry and economy in Asia. It now has 138 members, including three in Vietnam-Saigon Hi-tech Park, Da Nang Hi-tech Park and Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park.
